Meet Joséphine, our farmer of the month

Joséphine Lambert took over the Ferme du Vieux Chêne from her parents in 2009. Today her 62 cows graze the meadows around Marche-en-Famenne from April to November.

Every calf born on the farm gets a name, and Joséphine knows all of them. "A relaxed cow gives better milk," she says, "and when you know your cows, you see straight away when one of them is not feeling well."

Her milk goes into our Whole Farm Milk and our Old Meadow Cheese.
